Concern Behind the Teller

Our reseachers have gathered mounting information that the North American banks house the highest number of bored co-op students and highest rate of bored full-time employees.  At an astonishing rate of 95% of bored co-op students, chief researcher, Dr. Boring, has decided to move the scientists in for further research.  Although many of the cases are simply of a mild nature, Dr. Boring feels that it is possible that these case may turn into more serious cases.  Currently, researchers have noticed the following:
  • 95% of co-op students suffered from at least a MILD case of boredom during the last six months.
  • 40% of full-time regular employees also suffer from the same afflication as the co-ops
  • 5% of all employees are deemed SERIOUS
  • 1 out of every 6 employees working at a bank have admitted not having 'anything to do' at some time or another.
  • 73% of employees regular trade e-mails with old friends to try and pass the time more quickly.
  • 13% are creating websites in hopes 'time will fly.'
  • Finishing a distant second to the banks is the government offices, with 72% of bored co-op students and 7% of bored regular employees.  Dr. Boring attributes the low rate of bored full-time employees because there are so few working for the government.  Most of the employees are either part-time or working on contract or co-op students.  For about a month now, doctors have been investigating random government offices for SERIOUS cases.  These doctor have been shocked that 89% of the bored co-op employees are considered SERIOUS and there actually has been one case classified as EXTREME!  Almost all other professions have rates between 25%-50% of bored co-op students and 10%-15% of bored full time employees.
